NBA Fans agree - the 2020 postseason shouldnt be counted as legitimate results. The only question is how big is your asterisk? In my opinion the disjointed game schedule, bubble environment, lack of fans, and real world stressors at play render the final result 100% meaningless. I for one would describe my asterisk as massive, and am hoping we can get back to a legitimate asterisk-free NBA season in 2021.
Clippers flair asking this.. You hate to see it.
The guys brash enough to post from a non-burner lmao
He really gives no fucks.
Stripper fans I mean clippers down bad right now
Zero asterisk for me. I don’t place one on any season.
It was a normal championship, find a new slant.
The only argument for an "asterisk" would have been if a key player missed some games due to COVID which didnt happen. Apart from the Danuel House incident nothing out of the ordinary happened in these playoffs.
nba fans agree - youre trying to cope
Stop being a salty little bitch cuz your team choked and didnt allow themselves to win a championship
If anything, I would include one but for the other direction. No home court advantage, large stress on players, players sitting out, etc. Trophy was 110% earned. Well never get a season that complicated again until we get expansion teams on other planets
Man imagine a Lakers-Clippers series in Staples. 7 home games.
4 home games
how? they cant even get past their previous opponent. LOL
Im an NBA fan and I didnt "agree".
well you are part of a vocal minority here
you need to work on your math. no wonder youre a cLip fan.
KD is that you?
I’m happy to see this. I was worried about clippers’ fans but it looks like they are rebounding.
The championship is legitimate.
Massive asterisk - but because it was one of the most mentally demanding playoffs in history. Playing every other day, neutral site, no family for months, cooped up in the same area - its like a brand new season.
oh, its a Clipper fan. LOL
It wasnt championship or bust, so obviously it has an asterisk
Not much different than the 1998-99 season, where they rushed back the players and the on-court product was just awful. Read up on the 98 lockout and how they simply werent allowed to do anything from July-January and then had just 2 weeks (lockout ended
cope. theres no asterisk.
My asterisk is for this post *clippers fan coping
"NBA Fans agree" you already capping and the paragraph just started.
clippers suckkk! you guys got wayoff p lol what a TRASH nba team!
Thanks for sharing your opinion Jeremy, but you didnt answer the question.
If the Clippers had won, you would not post this 100%
Ah god how many more of these posts bro.
cLippers* *never got past 2nd round.. ever
Hopefully that is soon to change. Im looking forward to seeing how far the Kawhi led Clippers can go in a legitimate & asterisk-free NBA season.
so... 2nd round?
Lmao yeah this championship needs an asterisk alright. An asterisk to denote that this championship should be worth more than in any other years. Literally this shit was hunger games style. Being stuck in a bubble as professional athletes (who are used to
100% because my team didnt win
None. Asterisks are bullshit fans put on whatever event they arent happy with.
Imagine the thickest fattest asterisk you’ve ever seen, then double that. It’s a pretty phat assterisk
Go sleep nephew
Maybe the Clippers should get a vocal leader instead of a mute and a bunch of passive aggressive role players so that they arent as miserable when stuck together for an extended period.
Clippers flair lmfao..
nice try cLippers
I dont know if Id place an asterisk next to it, but its certainly an outlier. Winning in the bubble is extremely impressive. I realize the HEAT lost in the finals, but I think their bubble run is more noteworthy than the Lakers IMO. LeBron and AD were a
you know what event united all subs in /nba? the cLippers meltdown LOL
Bigger than lock-out shortened seasons
No NBA Fans agree. You wouldnt be saying this if the Clippers won it all.
Take this L to the next season with Lue as your coach.
0 - They played the games as they came. Sure no fans, but those games were intense and were absolutely legitimate.
