I saw a post about how Jordans Bulls still won 50+ games the year he left the NBA and it made me wonder how good his team actually was. When LeBron left that Cleveland team, they went straight into the lottery and got 4(?) number 1 picks. Do you think LeBron could have won 6+ championships if Cleveland somehow managed to get another all-star alongside him like Paul Pierce or even if he somehow teamed up with D Wade earlier into his career + A rebounder like Dwight as an equivalent for Rodman? I personally believe he would have already had 6 rings by now if he did get an all defensive all-star early in his career and not someone like Mo Williams
If teams were crafted to fit him perfectly, he would probably have 3-5. He would need that Bulls like continuity at all secondary positions and for all role players. Can’t forget giving him the greatest coach ever too, lol, that would help some. Not tha
Not everyone remembers that Carlos Boozer was on the Cavs for LeBron’s first year in Cleveland. After promising Gund he would re-sign if he was allowed to explore free agency, Boozer went back on his word and signed a big deal with Utah. LeBron had a so
MJ didnt have allstar equivalents to Pippen and Rodman his first 8 years either though.
Pippen joined in MJs fifth season didnt he?
Then it took him 4 seasons to become an allstar. Rodman was never an allstar for the Bulls. Neither was Horace.
Lol yeah people act like Jordan had it easy early. The dude had a trash team.
For sure. People also dont realize that on his last run Rodman was old as dirt and Pippen were injured. He basically carried them to a title in 98 with Kukoc being his best teammate in the finals. People just see Pippen/Rodman and assume it was a supertea
Hell, a Gilbert Arenas could have won at least 1 with those dudes
Ilgauskas and Ben Wallace
How many rings would Jordan have if he had the all-star versions of Rodman and Pippen his first 8 years.
at least 6 + 4 so 10 rings by now. at LEAST.
Id say he wins it in 2008 and 2006. I think he probably wins 2010, but it would be tough.
I’m *shocked* a lakers fan posted this /s
He would be at over 6 rings rn put it like that
