Why couldnt Kevin Durant handle with terrible floor spacing as good as LeBron James

LeBron is NBAs best player despite being almost 35 yrs old in his 17th NBA season. He has shown that he doesnt need brilliant floor spacing to show excellence. Never mind that LeBron is doing more than well to handle with being double/triple-teamed Kevin Durant, as good as he is, couldnt handle the bad spacing OKC. But when he joined Golden State Warriors, his TS% went from 58% to 65%. He had the luxuary to play next to Curry/Klay, which meant he couldnt be double/triple-teamed. As the title says, why couldnt handle with bad spacing while LeBron is much better at it?
