LeBron is NBAs best player despite being almost 35 yrs old in his 17th NBA season. He has shown that he doesnt need brilliant floor spacing to show excellence. Never mind that LeBron is doing more than well to handle with being double/triple-teamed Kevin Durant, as good as he is, couldnt handle the bad spacing OKC. But when he joined Golden State Warriors, his TS% went from 58% to 65%. He had the luxuary to play next to Curry/Klay, which meant he couldnt be double/triple-teamed. As the title says, why couldnt handle with bad spacing while LeBron is much better at it?
> He has shown that he doesnt need brilliant floor spacing to show excellence. Lebron has always been at his best with shooters around him.
Everyone is at their best with shooters around them this is a weird ass narrative around Lebron. Steph Curry is best with shooters around him so is Kd and so is every other player ever. The point Op is making is that Lebron is the same regardless of whe
Lmao this sub has become straight lebron dick riders
More like yall are delusional with your random Lebron narratives. Everyone offensive player is better with shooter around them.
*has* become? Its always been. The only difference is the front-running Laker fans are now full on Bronsexuals
I think that’s known though. What he’s saying is LeBron doesn’t necessarily need great shooters around him to succeed.
gtfo Lebron has all shooters around him
Yeah thats what he had last year. Lonzo Ball and Javale Mcgee popping out for 3. Get your head out of your ass.
thats one season buddy. maybe you get your head out of your ass
Lebron has had better overall supporting casts since he went to Miami.
What? Didnt KD play for the GSWs for 3 seasons?
Meant OKC Durant
That only works if you believe that kyrie is better than westbrook.
Yea with Kevin love who came off averaging 26-13 in Minnesota. And yes I take kyrie over Westbrook ( when you have another superstar). People forgetting how good Kyrie can play Dwayne wade Chris Bosh Ray Allen
To be fair, Kyrie won a playoff series as the No.1 guy. Westbrook has never accomplished that in 2016-2019.
Kyrie is a better sidekick than Westbrook
Thunder and Cavs were close-ish the one season Durant was healthy and on OKC when LeBron made the Cleveland return (2016). OKC lost to the Warriors in 7 and the Cavs beat the Warriors in 7. Its ok to believe the difference there was LeBron vs. Durant, but
How can you say that when Durant was on the Warriors lmao
I meant OKC Durant
LeBron is still the best player in the world? So you didnt watch last year? KD couldnt handle it to the same level as LeBron because prime LeBron is better than prime KD. Not complicated.
Unless Lebron has dramatically declined from 2018 which is possible, he is easily the best player in the world. Last year wasnt about winning for the Lakers you cant be that ignorant last year was about Ad.
Except hes not. He was far from the best player last couple years (maybe 3rd best or so). He may not be the best player on his team this year. Im sure he will be, but definitely no guarantee. How many years has it been since LeBron has played defense? Y
> He has shown that he doesnt need brilliant floor spacing to show excellence. Didnt his team just go 37-45 with shitty floor spacing?
He was his normal self production wise though. You know damn well the injuries and the trade drama ruined the teams record not their spacing.
None of it helped, but to deny that it was a shitty constructed roster is just wrong.
In his 16th year ... where he was injured ... where practically the entire team was injured.
Ok they were 28-27 in games LeBron played.
> Kevin Durant, as good as he is, couldnt handle the bad spacing OKC. Four scoring titles and a League MVP suggests otherwise
Because KD isn’t as good as LeBron and never was
LeBron always has spacing. But it’s true KD’s efficiency/“playoff killer” reputation was inflated by this GSW run.
Just last year Lebron was playing with Lonzo Ball and Javale Mcgee and put up his normal numbers and efficiency. That is the point Op is making. Lebron is always the same guy regardless of spacing or teammates.
I don’t disagree with that. It’s why LeBron’s who he is and why KD was never on LeBron’s level.
Anyways where did this narrative come from that Kevin Durant "couldnt handle" anything on OKC? 2010 - wins 50 games with Infants, scoring title 2011 - makes WCF with Babies, scoring title 2012 - makes NBA Finals with Toddlers, scoring title 2013 - Har
