Most of the other playoff games have had between a 4 and 7 shot attempt difference for the game. Thats hard to compete with.
Utah has 20 free throw attempts. Houston has 6. Thats where a good amount of their possessions went. Also Utahs 15 turnovers to Houstons 8.
Houston has 4 more offensive boards as well
A lot of people seem to not get that a non-and1 trip to the line is the same thing as a FGA, especially when talking about players.
BUT HE HAD 45 POINTS ON ONLY 30 SHOTS
Rockets defense showing out
2nd best defensive rating in the league since the ASB, they’ve been locked in
This. How do people not understand this concept?
Jazz have shot like 20 more fts.
Jazz are getting all the calls
Jazz have shot almost quadruple the free throws
Fouls/Free-throws. Jazz get fouled attacking the rim, doesnt add to the fga total. (surprisingly few calls for Houston, the whistle really does change in the playoffs for Harden)
15 turnovers vs 8 20 free throws vs 6 Jazz have had less shots because of that
1. Turnovers. Stop passing the ball around aimlessly and just shoot it. 2. Rebounds.
Both teams have 33 rebounds
8 to 15 TO and free throws
its because of turnovers + jazz have got more free throws attempted than rockets. TBH rockets have got a couple of and 1 free throws so they count as FGA as well so thats the biggest difference
Jazz have 7 more turnovers, 4 less offensive rebounds, and 23 free throws compared to 6 for the rockets.
Defense is a hell of a drug.
cuz they arent getting to the line
