Ive only started watching the nba and really following it this year and i was wondering if the best players on bad teams arent actually that good and if you put them with other stars they would in comparison not really be a star anymore as i said i have only really started following it this year so this next bit is more for the sake of example but for example would someone like vucevic be considered an all star or near all star level if he played for a team like okc and the offense wasnt run through him and he was compared to russ and paul george? Just a question and vucevic was just an example nothing agausnt him or anything.
Yes because they are allowed to put up empty stats without any expectation to succeed
Depends, system mediocre players don’t always look better, (Ex 2015 Mareese Speights) but other mediocre players that have free reigns over the offense might put up empty stats
It depends. Sometimes they look better on bad teams because they are used more. Sometimes they look better on good teams because they are used right.
Yes they do but it doesnt always mean that the best player on a bad team is actually mediocre. They could be really good but a mediocre player can look way better then they are on a bad team.
