The Rockets gave up a first round pick for shumpert, and even though its not gonna be the best pick in the world, it definitely seems like a steep price for shumpert. I get that Shump has been hurt, but where exactly did this idea that he was a shooter come from? He had a decent 3pt percentage in SAC on very limited attempts, but his percentages from the field were horrendous. I only brought up the lakers because Shump seems to have joined the "Mike Muscala School of Being a Shooter But Not Really"
Wasn’t the first to dump Knight or am I missing something?
You’re right. The trade was to get out of some lux tax and add a piece, the best option to do both was Shump. They could’ve had better players, but would’ve added salary.
take the win jesus christ
It’s a pretty reasonable post, I don’t think he’s hating or anything. Paying a 1st to dump Knights contract is iffy for a capped out team, but they wanted to get under the lux tax
Just wait till they play OKC again.
when player play bad ppl make post say he bad when player ply gud ppl make post say he gud
No. They gave up their (bad) first round pick in order to get under the luxury and get an expiring contract. They also got rid of Knight and Chriss, both of which are completely useless on HOU.
His last two finals against the Warriors were really bad, I dont think he sees the court in that series.
You do realize that was not the full trade right?
