Imagine I have the 3rd pick. What would you want in return for the 1st? Would my pick plus 3 more firsts cut it? I’m curious about how far a team go to get Zion, or is he untouchable?
Probably nothing because it’s Zion
Ur telling me the cavs would decline for example ben simmons for the 1?
Probably would decline cuz they’re not competing anytime soon
For sure. Simmons would be entering the fourth year of his deal and has Rich Paul as his agent.
What about the Knicks trading the first pick for AD? Everyone seems to think thats a done deal if NY gets that top pick.
Lets say the Knicks get the pick. They trade it for Davis and then sign some guys like KD Do you not think thats worth it?
I mean that kind of situation would be rare, but in that case, yes. There’s probably a better outcome though, of the Knicks keeping Zion and waiting for AD to come in free agency next season along with KD
Pelicans, Bucks, Celtics, 76ers, Warriors, Mavs, and Nuggets Maybe the Suns.
Aside from giannis, not sure what would be able to pry the first pick off anyone. Think about all the lottery teams. Booker + 3rd? Lauri + 3rd? Trae + 3rd? Possibly but doubtful. Nothing from the Knicks or Cavs with the 3rd would do it. JJJ?
Yeah probably. Likely? Nope.
i would possibly trade back if the #2 pick is taking rj barrett so that i could get ja morant + a young star
Pels could. Boston as well. Lakers fan probably think they can.
What could Boston trade to get Zion? Tatum isnt doing it and their draft picks arent low enough
I feel like Zion is becoming incredibly overrated at this point.
Yes, 100% overrated. But even if he’s half as good in the league, the team that picks him is set for a decade
I look at his profile and I do see probably the best athlete in the league already but the gap between his athleticism and his competitors is much smaller in the NBA so he will struggle to get to the rim more. I dont know how good his prime will be but I
no such thing as an untradeable pick if you have a young star. for example if the suns offered booker for the 1 pick you HAVE to accept that if you have a guard problem, booker is proven while whoever you will draft is not
No way in hell I would take Booker for the #1 pick
Booker plus the 3rd pick?
I can see the Bulls trading out since they have Carter and Lauri. All the other lottery teams, probably not.
